Using the cooking foil with our Mare Lucullus pasta as an example

Carta FaTa cooking foil opens up completely new possibilities on the hot stone. One example is our Mare Lucullus pasta – a Mediterranean culinary experience straight from the stone.

  1. Prepare the cooking foil – Place the cut Carta FaTa foil on a deep plate to create a hollow for your ingredients.
  2. Arrange the ingredients – Place the tagliatelle, shrimp, mussels, and fresh herbs in the center of the foil. Season to taste, e.g., with garlic, parsley, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add liquid – Two ladles of broth provide the perfect cooking base.
  4. Seal the foil – Gather the foil at the top and tie it with the reusable Carta FaTa silicone strings or kitchen twine.
  5. Cook on the hot stone – Place the parcel on the Lucullus stone with stainless steel rim, heated to approx. 210 °C. After a short time, the liquid will begin to simmer – the aromas will unfold.
  6. Pure enjoyment – Open the foil directly at the table and enjoy your pasta straight from the stone, which keeps the food warm for a long time.
